What is Filler? 

For our Cheek Enhancement procedure, we use filler containing Hyaluronic Acid that has a liquid/gel consistency which is injected into the cheeks. 

How Many ML Do I Need? 

For natural yet noticeable results, we recommend that you have 2ml of filler. However, your practitioner can offer bespoke advice on a person-by-person basis. 

Can the Filler Be Removed? 

Absolutely, yes. Hyaluronic Acid is what our filler is made from, an ingredient we already have present naturally in our skin and as a result, the filler is temporary and can be dissolved if required. 

Does Cheek Enhancement Have a Slimming Effect? 

Yes, one of the many benefits of Cheek Enhancement is that it contours and sculpts the cheeks for a streamlined and slimmer appearance. 

Is Cheek Enhancement Right for Me?

Will I See Results Immediately? 

Results can be seen immediately after the procedure but a true result can be seen once the swelling has subsided after seven days. 

Is Cheek Enhancement Painful? 

The filler we use for this procedure contains a numbing agent. This, paired with the numbing cream we apply prior to the Cheek Enhancement treatment ensures any discomfort levels are kept to a minimum. Expect a minor sting at the injection site. 

What are the Side Effects?

The most common side effect experienced with Cheek Enhancement is swelling and bruising.

How Should I Prepare for Cheek Enhancement? 

Always arrive at your appointment hydrated as Hyaluronic Acid is the main ingredient in our filler and this is a water-holding molecule. Seven days prior to the treatment, stop using any blood thinning medication that might increase the chances of bruising. Avoid alcohol 24 hours before your appointment for the same reason. No intense facial treatments should be organised three days before Cheek Enhancement as this can cause blood to rush to the surface of the skin which will again increase your chance of bruising.
